School acceptance and a day at the yacht club

We went to mom’s work on Wednesday and introduced you to so many of your T-system family.  Everyone has been anxiously waiting to meet you!  You met Allison, Holly, Jan, Cyndie (who you already know so well), Kara, Thuy, Eric, Binit, Sam, Brian, Freda, Kaltrina, Tom, Brent and Andy.  Afterwards we went to Manny’s for lunch.  It was so great to see so many wonderful friends.

I found out on Thursday that you have been accepted to the Community School of Park Cities.  I have been praying that we would find a good school to bring you to when I have to go back to work and I think our prayers have been answered.  On Friday, we went to register you and meet your teachers.  You are going to have great teachers.  We met Rosa, Nancy and Amy – all who taught your little buddy William just a few months ago.  I’m going to be a basket case the day we send you to school but it helped to see some of your classmates and where your crib will be.  The administrator said that a lot of the parents are also first time parents which I know will help.

On Saturday, you met my oldest friend Allison who I have known since I was 5!  She had a party at the White Rock Lake Yacht Club.  We went and had burgers and watched a gorgeous sunset.

You are kind of a hot little tamale and have started kicking off your blankets if you are hot.  I tried to put you in the Bjorn this week and you threw an ever loving fit.  I guess we will try again some other time.  You are such a strong little guy.  You are able to hold your head up when I put you on my shoulder to burp you.  You can also hold it up for a little while during tummy time.  You are starting to “ooh” more and I especially love how you open your mouth whenever you gaze at something that you love (like your birds on your swing that rotate).

You just get cuter and cuter each day.

You really seemed to love to swing with the birds turned on.  You love the bouncy blue chair.  You still love stretching.  You stretch a little and wait for my reaction and then stretch more.  It's so cute.  And of course, you love to eat.

You are just a creature of habit and you still hate the diaper changes, baths and wardrobe changes.
