You are also a very good little sleeper for the most
part. During the day, you wake up almost
clock work around 2 ½ - 3 hours to eat (don’t even think about skipping meals
mom!) and at night you are still sleeping 4-6 hours in between feedings.
You are also much more awake and aware during the day. We spend our time going on walks (we are up
to 3-5 miles a day), checking out the new house (they are starting to paint and
finishing up the brick & stone), changing diapers (you are a poop machine –
your dad’s words, not mine), bathing and working on tummy time. I also have been singing to you which you
seem to like. Your favorite so far is
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. And by
favorite, I mean I get the most reaction from you.
This weekend was Memorial Day and we had Casey and Dorian’s wedding in Austin. Lucky for
us, Gigi tagged along with us so that she could watch you at the hotel while we
went out. She strolled you around the
hotel and read to you! The wedding was
gorgeous! It was in a small chapel
overlooking the hill country. The
reception was at David S’s house and we went out to the Rattle Inn afterwards.
On Sunday, we got up and went to Mettle for lunch with Sue.
Mom and Dad got a new camera! So many of the shots are mom playing around
with different settings.
It's not your first smile but you are starting to see you smile more and more. We got some great pictures of your smiling this week.
You love to stroll and ride in the car (you PASS
out!). Your go bugs and longhorn are still your best buddies. Your stretching routine hit an all time high
this week! On Wednesday, it probably
lasted about 10 minutes. Lights, fans and vents constantly keep you
entertained. You are starting to one eyebrow or the
other. We aren’t sure where this came
from because your dad and I can’t do this. You love your turtle light machine at night. You ooh at the lights as they hit the ceiling.
If anyone dares to take away your bottle - you get ANGRY! You really really hate hiccups.
