Baby it’s cold outside. And then warm. And then cold again.

At least you have gotten to wear your cute winter hat a few times.  All of the babies at your school have different fuzzy hats.  I love to come pick you up on colder days, it’s like a baby parade.  Daylight savings was this past weekend and with it the nights start early (around 5:30pm) so we can’t stroll around much anymore after school.  Instead we just play in the game room, feed you dinner and give you baths (which we have bumped up to daily).  You do love your baths now.  You love to splash in the water and play with your rubber UT duck.

You turned 7 months old his past week and it is just so hard to believe!  You sit up so well and love to play (especially with your blocks at school).  You have also started slithering on your belly.  It’s not quite an army crawl but more of a drag.  You do get up on all fours and rock back and forth.  I think you will be all out crawling very soon and your dad and I have ordered baby gates.  You love to screech and shriek with delight.  You are very interested in other babies and kids for that matter.  You love to smile and maybe wave…we aren’t sure (your wave looks like you are rubbing the side of your face).  You LOVE animals.  I have even hear you squeal in the stroller when you saw a squirrel.

We celebrated Uncle Brian's birthday earlier in the week.  We went out for pizza and it was fun hanging out with everyone.  As for weekend activities, Mom and Dad went to a fun concert last weekend.  Matt’s boss and wife turned 40 and so they rented a party bus and we went to see Eli Young where the Rangers play.  The concert was literally on the baseball diamond.  This Saturday was hot during the day (cooler at night) This weekend we hosted Cyndie’s 30th birthday party at the house.  And it was freezing.  It even snowed a bit.  Your grandparents all had plans that night so Itzel from school came to watch you.  You lit up when you saw her!  The party was at our house and it was a great success.

We also met mom’s friends Ashley and Whitney this past weekend at Pappasitos.  You LOVED Whitney and smiled at her all night.

The last picture is one of the Enzler cousins that were born right after you.  Baby Nash is on the left.  He is just 10 weeks younger than you.  Baby Johnny is in the center.  He was born in September and is the youngest of the pack.  Baby Maddyn is to the right.

You LOVE music.  You love the music box, train and house that plays music.  You are a dancing machine where your signature move include you rocking forward and back while sitting.  You are rolling around like crazy,  You even rolled onto your stomach this past weekend when you were sleeping (gave your dad and I a little heart attack when we woke you up the next morning).  You like food.  Duh.

Happy Halloween you little dragon you

You didn’t really know what to think of this whole Halloween thing.  Halloween this year fell on a Friday.  At work, mom’s company participates in a big Halloween costume competition.  This year, my group was the Addams family.  Mom was Wednesday Addams.  We got robbed and got second place.  Afterwards, we had our annual Halloween pot luck where everyone brings in super spooky food.  After the luncheon, I was able to sneak out and come get you so we could go to your dad’s company’s Halloween party.  You had the cutest orange pumpkin outfit on but when we got to Dad’s work, we traded this in for a super scary fire breathing dragon!

At Dad’s work, there was a maze made out of hay bales, face painting, games, popsicles and all sorts of fun activities.  You are a little young for most of it (even the baby games) but you got to hang out with other babies (including Ryan and Courtney’s son Clayton – a sweet tiger).  We put all of the babies on the ground where you could roll on each other and try to gum each other’s costumes.

Mom was SO excited for trick or treaters.  Ever since she left home for college, she had never lived in a part of the neighborhood where trick or treaters went…until now.  We catered in dinner and sat on the front porch along with Trey, Jasmine, Mimi, Papa, Gigi, Allison, Laura and Son.  You didn’t really care about the trick or treaters that much but you did love hanging out with so many friends and family.

The next night we took you with us to Natalie and Evan’s wedding shower at a restaurant up the street.  The shower was on the roof top bar and it was packed.  When we showed up, you were asleep but you woke up about 30 minutes into the party.  Like always, you were a great baby and let mom and dad stick around awhile as we caught up with friends.  You loved the fire pits and of course the fans around the restaurant.  You continue to amaze us with how laid back you are and sweet.

You have FALLEN IN LOVE this UCONN huskie your dad’s friends got you.  I think you think it is Missy.  You discovered the house that the Friends gave to you.  You have started to press the buttons, flip the switches and dance to the tunes that it plays.  You LOVE prunes!  You gobbled up the whole bottle.

You don't like when we have to wipe your face.  This is problematic because you are the messiest eater I know.
